Features of SPIGGLE & THEIS nasal splints

External nasal splints made of thermoplastic or aluminum are now standard equipment in ENT, trauma surgery and outpatient clinics. Thermoplastic is a plastic that can be modeled under the influence of temperature, which allows for very individual adaptation to the patient's anatomy. The external aluminum nasal splints are the quickest solution to use. Important product details such as good formability with high stability, sufficient padding that is not too thick, a good adhesive film and, last but not least, an attractive price, can be found in our aluminum splints.

Internal nasal splints are used after rhinosurgical procedures to support and/or protect the nasal septum and septal buttons are used to close septal perforations. We only use silicone and fluoroplastic as materials. Both materials prevent secretions or tissue from sticking thanks to their anti-adhesive surface.

Nasal, sinus or epistaxis tampons are used after practically every rhinosurgical procedure. For this reason, we also provide you with a very wide selection of sizes and shapes. Depending on the indication, you can decide. All of our PVA tampons are gamma sterilized, but must not be resterilized (disposable products). The PVA tampons must always be well moistened throughout the entire time they are in use and before they are removed.
