Aeris

Aeris® Balloon Dilation Catheter

Next Generation Airway Dilation

Maximize outcomes and minimize risks with the Aeris® Balloon Dilation Catheter

Developed by an airway surgeon, Aeris® addresses the issues of slippage in airway stenosis. The exclusive non-slip design of the Aeris® balloon ensures safe and controlled dilation of the airway.
  • Single lumen catheter
Aeris® single lumen catheter enables fast inflation and deflation times
  • Broad range of balloon sizes
Aeris® comes in a broad range of sizes to meet both pediatric and adult anatomical needs
  • High-pressure balloon
The body of the balloon will increase to create a uniform diameter balloon at recommended inflation pressure
  • Cost effective
Aeris® catheters are sold in single packs, facilitating hospital inventory management

Bone-like shape and hubs on each end of the Aeris® balloon prevent slippage during dilation of airway stenosis

Aeris1

Under endoscopic visualization, the Aeris® balloon catheter is passed through the glottis and is centered over the stenosis.

Aeris2
The balloon is inflated to the desired pressure under endoscopic visualization while the diameter, shape and the position of the balloon is assessed. The balloon pressure is monitored using the gauge on the inflation device. It should be ensured that the proximal end of the balloon remains proximal to the stricture throughout inflation.
Aeris3
The exclusive non-slip design of the Aeris® balloon ensures a safe, controlled dilation.
Aeris4
The Aeris® balloon provides optimal radial expansion force over the stenotic area, maximizing outcomes and minimizing the risk of rupture.

Color-coded Luer-lock connectors

color-coded connectors

The Luer-lock connectors of the balloon are color-coded to match the proper bar setting on the Aeris® inflation device gauge, reducing the occurrence of improper inflation.

The selection of a dilation catheter must always be based on a clinical assessment by a qualified specialist. This sizing table is intended only as a general reference and does not replace a professional examination. Sizes can also be determined using an ETT. Formula: Take the outer diameter of an age-appropriate endotracheal tube and add 1 mm for the larynx and 2 mm for the trachea.
