Choosing only the best materials sets the course for quality in general. Bending strength, breakage safety, corrosion resistance and metallurgical cleanness - to name but a few - must comply with the highest standards. Our carefully selected supplier uses a special fi nishing process (HIP = hot isostatic pressing), to give the tungsten carbide its practically
pore-free structure. The result is a sharp ground and unmarred blade.

 

 

  • The choice of materials paves the way for the total quality of the product. Bending strength and fracture resistance, corrosion resistance and metallurgical purity must meet the highest standards. Only then, can an
    evenly sharp honed blade be achieved.

  • The bur heads have an asymmetrical cut design that allows the surgeon simple and controlled cutting. In addition, the tissue can be removed quickly and efficiently, while the lifetime of the bur is extended by „automatic cleaning“. The cutting geometry provides the transport of removed bone particles away from the cutting area.

  • Omni-E burs combine the cutting properties of a „normal“ bur and the polishing properties of a diamond bur.

  • Omni-E burs are less aggressive in their cutting behaviour and easier to control.

 

 

The working part of these rotary instruments, i.e. the head, is made of tungsten carbide, which shows the signs of wear and tear much less than steel. The cutting performance can be maintained for longer. Many clinics use only tungsten carbide instruments, due to the clear advantages over steel.
